something amiss
So I found a nice little place near work. It’s quiet, and filled with surly old guys to play Xiangqi with. One warning: when your elderly neighbor notices your newly installed broadband line, she may think something is amiss. Change can mean danger, and for someone who’s lived through everything an 80 year old Chinese woman must have lived through, survival is a matter of daily vigilance.
As such, the gentle old lady may take a small step ladder, climb up outside your door with a Spirit-of-Lei-Feng wire cutter, and snip the offending cable.
Still waiting on repairs.
